UNDC offers major medical and dental benefits at a shared cost with our employees. Our carrier for dental coverage is Premium Life. Health insurance is provided by United Healthcare. Our plan is a low-premium, high- deductible PPO offered in conjunction with a Health Savings Plan (HSA).

The HSA allows employees to establish an account with pre-tax earnings to pay authorized medical espenses. (Income deposited into an HSA and used for medical purposes is not taxed by the federal or state government, except in California.) Funds are deposited in the HSA through payroll deduction and matching funds contributed by UNDC. The fund is owned and managed entirely by the employee and remains the property of the employee even after employment with UNDC is terminated.

UNDC offers participation to eligible employees in a 401(k) retirement plan through Transamerica.
